Year 5 Learn About Forces

This half term in Science, Year 5 have been learning all about forces. This week, they investigated the impact of forces on different objects. The children were challenged to pick up a full plastic bottle using only a pencil, use chop sticks to pick up jelly cubes covered in oil, test the friction of different shoes and investigate which paper was best for stacking cups! They worked incredibly well together and were amazed at some of the results.
