A key ethos of Waverley is to ensure that our Year 6 ‘graduates’ secure places at the right secondary school for them. There are significant differences between secondary schools in terms of ethos, teaching methods and culture. At Waverley, we believe that in order for each student to develop to their full potential, they secure a place at the school which will best advance and develop their individual skillsets.

Secondary School Trends
- On average, 92% of our 2022 - 2024 Year 6 graduates were able to go to their first-choice secondary school and many of our students had multiple offers.
- 86% of our pupils passed the 11+ (grammar school) exam. (Year 6 leaving in 2024)
- Over recent years, there has also been an increasing trend for our students to select boarding for their secondary education. We are proud that our pupils possess the confidence and independence to make this step and venture further afield as they move on from Waverley.
